Terms and Conditions – Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd.

  1. Placement Fees: For the placement of a maid/servant, our placement service fee is equivalent to one full month’s salary of the maid/servant plus a one-time registration charge of ₹1,250.

    Example:
    If you hire a maid at a monthly salary of ₹30,000, then:
    • Placement Fee = ₹30,000 (equal to 1 month’s salary)
    • Registration Charge = ₹1,250 (one-time, non-refundable)

    Total Payment to Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. = ₹31,250 (to be paid before the maid joins).

    Please note: The maid’s monthly salary is not included in this fee and must be paid directly to the maid/servant by the client starting from her first working day.
  2. Replacement Policy: After placement, the client is entitled to free replacement for a period of 11 months from the date of joining. A maximum of 3 free replacements are allowed within this period. If the maid continues beyond 11 months, the client must pay new placement charges after every 11 months to continue services. No refund will be provided if the client decides to terminate the service on their own.
  3. Non-Refund Policy: Once the maid/servant has joined and the placement service is considered delivered, the service fee and registration fee paid to Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. become strictly non-refundable, even if the client decides to cancel the service within the replacement period.
  4. Salary Payment: The placement fee paid to Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. covers only the recruitment service. The maid/servant’s monthly salary must be paid separately and directly to the maid/servant by the client from the date of joining.
  5. Job Description and Salary Agreement: The client must provide a clear and detailed job description along with the agreed salary before placement. The maid/servant cannot be forced to perform tasks beyond the agreed role or be paid less than the agreed amount. In case the maid leaves due to these reasons, no replacement or refund will be provided.
  6. Replacement Conditions: To request a replacement, the client must clear all pending dues of the current maid and provide a minimum of 15 days’ prior notice. No replacement will be provided if the previous maid’s salary or dues are pending. The replacement maid will have the same salary and job role as the original maid.
  7. Temporary Absence: If the maid is temporarily absent (due to illness or personal reasons) but confirms to return within 15 days, the client is required to wait. Replacement will be considered only if she fails to return after 15 days.
  8. Police Verification: While Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. shares the documents received from the maid/servant, the responsibility of police verification lies solely with the client. The company shall not be liable for any criminal activities or misconduct by the maid after placement.
  9. Advance Salary: Giving advance salary to the maid/servant is entirely the client’s decision and responsibility. Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for any refund or recovery if the maid leaves after receiving any advance payment.
  10. Replacement Delays: While Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. aims to provide replacements within 15 days, delays may occur due to candidate availability. If no replacement is possible, the client will be issued a credit note equal to the service fee, which can be used for future services with Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. No cash refunds will be provided.
  11. Security Check: The client is responsible for checking the maid’s belongings (bags, purse, etc.) when she enters or leaves the premises. Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for any theft or missing items.
  12. Workplace Ethics: The client agrees to treat the maid/servant respectfully and not subject her to mental or physical abuse. Any mistreatment or changes in agreed job role or salary can result in the maid leaving, in which case no replacement or refund will be provided.
  13. Travel Expenses (Pickup & Drop): The client must bear the full cost of the maid/servant’s travel from her current residence to the client’s home during initial joining. Additionally, if the client terminates the maid’s services for any reason, the client is also responsible for paying her return travel expenses from the client’s home back to her native place or original residence. Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. will not be liable for any such travel-related expenses.
  14. Salary Timeliness: The client must ensure timely payment of the maid’s salary. If the maid leaves due to delayed payments, the client will not be eligible for any replacement.
  15. Relocation Clause: If the client relocates to a different city and the maid is unable to continue working at the new location, Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. will not provide any replacement.
  16. Goods and Advance: Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for any advance salary, personal items, gifts, or goods given to the maid/servant by the client at any stage.
  17. Leave Policy: The client must provide 2 paid leaves every month to the maid/servant. If these leaves are denied, the client must compensate the maid with 2 days’ additional salary for every month where leaves were not granted.
  18. Trial Period: There is no free trial period. From the first day the maid joins, the full placement fee is applicable, irrespective of whether the maid continues or not.
  19. Working Hours: Working hours must be agreed at the time of hiring. Any extra hours worked beyond the agreed limit must be compensated with additional payment by the client.
  20. Mobile Phone Usage: Usage of mobile phones by the maid should be mutually agreed upon between the client and the maid/servant. Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for any related disputes.
  21. Job Role Changes: After placement, if the client wishes to change the maid’s job duties, prior written approval from Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. is mandatory. Unauthorized changes void the replacement and refund policy.
  22. Dispute Resolution: In case of any dispute, both parties agree to attempt mutual resolution. If unresolved, disputes will fall under the legal jurisdiction of Mumbai courts only.
  23. Service Limitation: Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. acts solely as a placement agency and is not the legal employer of the maid/servant. We are not liable for her behaviour, actions, or performance after placement.
  24. Document Verification Disclaimer: All identity and address proofs of maids are forwarded as received from the candidates. The client is solely responsible for verifying these documents. Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. does not verify their authenticity.
  25. Communication Disclaimer: All communications (verbal, written, or digital) from Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. are for information purposes only. We are not responsible for any misunderstandings arising from them.
  26. No Direct Hiring: Clients must not directly hire or rehire any maid referred by Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. without prior approval. Violation of this condition will result in the client being liable to pay full placement charges.
  27. Misuse of Candidate Information: Any personal details shared regarding candidates must not be misused, shared, or forwarded. Jhanvi Jobs Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for any misuse by the client.
  28. Payment Details: All payments must be made only in favour of “Sudama Devi” or “Jayram Mandal”. Payments made to any other account will not be considered valid.
